Carmelita has over 25 years experience in the Commercial Real Estate Industry. She has specialized in Retail Shopping Center Development, leasing, asset management, acquisitions/dispositions, strategic development analysis and site selection.
Carmelita has worked in various sides of the business from being an in-house tenant representative for Jack In The Box, Baskin Robbins, Togo’s Eateries, Dunkin Donuts, Safeway, and Long’s Drugs to an in-house leasing representative for Pan Pacific Retail Properties (an REIT that sold to Kimco Realty) and Property Development Centers (a subsidiary of Safeway recently sold to Terramar/TRC) to owning her own company as a California licensed broker, CMB Real Estate Solutions, representing tenants such as Walgreens, McDonald’s, Patxi’s Pizza, and Wing Stop along with developers and landlords like Regency Centers, Sansome Pacific Properties and The Orosco Group/DBO Development to most recently being a Regional Director of Real Estate acting as a preferred development representative at BOOS Development.
At United Growth, her primary focus is on acquisitions and new tenant business relations nationwide. Carmelita holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and is a CCIM Designee, Certifed CRX and CLS of ICSC. She is an active committee member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) where she has co-chaired, and participated as a panelist at local events.
