Heather Descagnia has over 15 years in the Construction and Development Industry including residential, restaurants, warehouses, airports and ports of entries, banking institutions, retail developments, and luxury retail stores throughout the United States. Through her career, Heather has encountered unique and diverse projects and has worked both in-house from the standpoint of operator/owner, and also from a service provider capacity to determine and satisfy business operations expectations and deliver projects that are both on time and within budget. This experience includes working closely with business clients, vendors, and subcontractors during the planning, feasibility, design, construction, and turnover stages of store development and construction. Heather has built over 1 million square feet, including ground up, remodels, and new construction. She has had the ability to work on unique and complex projects including working with Duty Free Americas for retail store buildouts in International Airports and Ports of Entry. One of the successful projects Heather completed with DFA included market entry at Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson Airport and buildout of 5 luxury stores in the newly established Terminal F. At United Growth, Heather leads the Store Development team. Her primary focus includes collaborating on feasibility, site and financial planning, scheduling, qualifying vendors, construction, and ensuring a positive turnover to tenants. Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and an MBA from Western Governors University.
